Entry Routes and Qualification Checks

For pre-school/nursery teaching, NCTE’s 2014 framework listed Senior Secondary qualification plus an approved early-childhood/nursery teacher-education route as the principal professional route, and also included B.Ed. in the listed alternatives. However, candidates should not treat an old national table as a universal job guarantee: the hiring school, state or UT recruitment rules, recognition conditions and current NCTE requirements must be checked for the particular vacancy.
