Security Assistant (DRDO)

The direct entry route evidenced by the CEPTAM-10/A&A notice was an online application for Security Assistant ‘A’, followed by Tier-I CBT and, for candidates taken forward, a qualifying Tier-II Physical Fitness and Capability Test. The Tier-I score was used for provisional selection; Tier-II was qualifying in nature.

For the 2022 cycle, the education requirement was 12th class or equivalent, with the stated Armed Forces-certificate alternative for eligible ex-servicemen. Age limits, vacancies, reservation, fee, dates, test standards and posting locations are recruitment-cycle-specific, so they must be read from the next official Security Assistant notice rather than copied from an old advertisement.

As of the cited CEPTAM-11 announcement, the advertised posts were STA-B and Technician-A. Therefore, prospective applicants should monitor DRDO’s vacancies page and CEPTAM notices rather than presume that Security Assistant recruitment is continuously open.
