For academic progression, the NCAHP curriculum includes a Master’s in Anaesthesia & Operation Theatre Technology (M.AOTT). Its stated focus is advanced knowledge in planning, setting up, maintaining and managing anaesthesia and surgical procedures, equipment handling, clinical supervision, research and training. Admission requirements must be checked with the university offering the master’s programme.

Build employability through a complete internship logbook, documented OT/anaesthesia/critical-care rotations, infection-control and patient-safety competence, equipment familiarity, communication skills and continuing professional education. Registration, recognition and recruitment rules can evolve as NCAHP standards are implemented, so verify the applicable state and employer requirements at the time of application.
